Trauma

Trauma, grief, loss, we've all experienced some type of trauma in our lives. Sometimes we get through with little difficulty and yet there are other times where we seem to get stuck in it, unable to get through to the other side. You might be sleeping less (or more), sad or "down" more times than happy, withdrawing from people/activities you used to enjoy, unable to relax, constantly have your guard up, experiencing nightmares. Often these symptoms can affect your health as well through headaches, body aches (built up tension) and stomach irritability just to name a few. Unresolved trauma can make you feel backed against a wall with nowhere to turn but feeling like you need to run. Anxiety and depression

Do you feel stuck, not progressing? Everyone around you appears to be moving forward with amazing things going on in their lives yet all you want to do is avoid life. Do you find yourself worrying about all the "what if's" and expectations you never feel like you'll be able to live up to? Or maybe you find it difficult to turn your brain off and to stop thinking about all the mistakes you've made, all the "woulda," shoulda," coulda's."
